A Beautiful Lake Mary Celebration
REAL WEDDING | APRIL 10, 2026 | LAKE MARY, FLORIDA
A Wedding Built Around What Mattered Most
Sierra and Marshall celebrated their wedding at The Barn at Hidden Oaks Farm of Lake Mary with a light blue and ivory palette, an outdoor ceremony and a reception inside the barn. The day moved from meaningful ceremony music into a reception that felt personal, energetic and completely their own.
For Sierra and Marshall, the ceremony was the heart of the day. Their processional included a Christian wedding entrance mashup, Sierra walked down the aisle to a violin cover of Goodness of God by Bethel Music, and the newlyweds exited to Counting My Blessings by Seph Schlueter. Those choices set the tone before the party ever started.

“Our ceremony was the most important part of the day, and we felt like Party Springs really understood our vision. For the reception, we had a general idea of what we wanted, but they helped fill in the blanks. They were intentional about understanding us and what we wanted rather than giving us a cookie cutter experience.”

The Barn at Hidden Oaks Wedding Look
The ceremony and reception gave the property two very different personalities. White roses, ranunculus, lisianthus and baby’s breath carried through the ceremony design, while the reception used white linens, baby blue napkins, ivory accents, candles and roses. Even the guestbook was personal: a wedding Bible with highlighters sat alongside a prayer box for guests.
Those details gave the day a soft, classic look without making it feel overly formal. Outside, the black barn doors created a clean backdrop for portraits. Inside, the celebration became warmer and more energetic as the evening moved toward open dancing.

A Reception With Music That Felt Like Sierra + Marshall
The reception began at 5:15 p.m., and the introductions immediately showed how much personality was built into the music. Family and wedding party entrances included Let’s Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire, Celebration by Kool & The Gang, Fireball by Pitbull and Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. Sierra and Marshall then entered as the new Mr. and Mrs. Wiggins to Big Poppa by The Notorious B.I.G.
Their first dance shifted the room into a completely different feeling with Forever and Ever, Amen by Randy Travis. Marshall’s mother son dance followed with Billy Joel’s Just the Way You Are. Sierra also dedicated her bouquet to her mother before dinner and speeches.

Music detail: Their timeline moved naturally between country, classic party music, hip hop and sentimental songs rather than trying to force the entire reception into one genre.
The Dance Floor Became the Surprise of the Night
Sierra and Marshall were not sure how many guests would actually spend the night dancing. Once open dancing began, that concern disappeared. The floor filled up, the glow sticks came out and guests across generations stayed involved.
Dion mixed around the response in the room instead of treating the playlist like a fixed script. Sierra later said the music connected both their grandparents and friends in their twenties. The couple had also requested songs including John Turner’s Two Steppin’ on the Moon, Morgan Wallen’s 180 (Lifestyle) and I Had Some Help, plus Whiskey Whiskey by Moneybagg Yo featuring Morgan Wallen.
“We didn’t know how lively our group would be or how many people would actually get on the dance floor, but DJ Dion completely exceeded our expectations. He knew how to get everyone involved, and seeing our friends and family dancing all night was one of the best parts of the wedding.”

When a Song Request Became Its Own Moment
One of Sierra and Marshall’s favorite memories was not a single planned formal dance. It was the way guest requests became part of the entertainment. Instead of quietly dropping a requested song into the mix, Dion could acknowledge who asked for it and turn it into a shared moment when the timing made sense.
Their guest request list was just as varied as the rest of the night, with songs ranging from Pitbull and Shakira to Neil Diamond, Brooks & Dunn and Hozier. That range gave Dion plenty of directions to move while still keeping the floor connected.
“One of our favorite memories was how DJ Dion made every song request feel like its own moment. He would play the request, shout out who it was from, and make it fun and entertaining. It kept everyone involved and made the night feel so personal.”

A Note From DJ Dion
One of the things I remember most about Sierra and Marshall’s wedding was just how much fun everyone was having.
I was actually looking back at a video from the night, and one moment that really stood out was the conga line. Sierra was leading it with glow sticks, with family and friends following behind her, and pretty much everyone was getting involved. At one point, one of the guests even pulled one of the banquet servers into the conga line while she was still carrying her cocktail tray, which was hilarious.
The energy was great all night. Everyone seemed comfortable, involved, and ready to have a good time, and once the conga line made its way back toward the dance floor, the party just kept going.
It was definitely one of those weddings where you could tell everyone was genuinely enjoying themselves, and I had a great time being part of it.

The Moments Between the Party
The reception was nonstop dancing from beginning to end, and that made the high energy moments stronger. Sierra and Marshall had time for dinner, speeches from Maid of Honor Leah Shinn and Best Man Clayton Wiggins, cake cutting and the smaller interactions that make a wedding feel personal.
At the end of the night, they cleared the room for a private dance to Spin You Around by Morgan Wallen. After a reception spent surrounded by friends and family, it gave them one final quiet moment inside the barn before their exit.
A Country Ending to a High Energy Night
Sierra and Marshall’s final song choice brought the night back to the country music woven throughout their wedding. Their exit was set to Would You Go With Me by Josh Turner, giving the send off its own soundtrack before they headed out together.
Sierra’s Review of
Party Springs Entertainment
“We had an amazing experience with Party Springs Entertainment for our wedding. From the first conversation, they were responsive and easy to work with, making the whole planning process smooth. DJ Dion absolutely killed it on our wedding day, he kept everyone dancing the entire night. He read the crowd perfectly and mixed songs that got both our grandparents and friends in their twenties excited to be on the dance floor. The energy he brought made our reception feel like a real party. We’d definitely hire them again and would recommend Party Springs Entertainment to any couple looking for a DJ who knows how to get people moving.”

What stands out most in Sierra’s review is the range of the room. This was not a reception where one generation watched while another danced. Their grandparents and twenty something friends were both part of the same celebration.

Planning Your Own Barn at Hidden Oaks Wedding?
Sierra and Marshall’s wedding is a reminder that a great reception does not need a cookie cutter formula. The ceremony can be deeply personal. The formal dances can reflect the couple’s story. The open dance floor can move between generations and genres. What matters is having a plan before the wedding and enough flexibility to respond to the people in the room once the celebration begins.
Your wedding should sound like you.
